About Us

The Grill Works has been Marion’s trusted home for all things grilling since 2000, proudly owned and operated by Brian and Lisa Gilliatt. What began as a passion project in our family home—servicing classic Charmglow Natural Gas Grills from the 60s and 70s—quickly grew into something much bigger.

In 2009, we embraced an exciting new chapter by acquiring a long-standing Chicago-based distributorship, carrying forward its 50-year tradition of supplying replacement grill parts to hardware stores across the country. Just one year later, in May 2010, we opened our Marion storefront, transforming our hands-on experience and love for grilling into a thriving, community-centered business.

Today, The Grill Works remains family-driven, service-focused, and deeply rooted in the community that has supported us from the beginning. Whether you’re restoring a vintage grill, searching for quality replacement parts, or looking to elevate your backyard cooking experience, we’re here to help with expertise, honesty, and genuine care.
